Together in Ministry Grants
Deadline for proposals: September 15, 2008

It's time to think about putting together those proposals for Together in Ministry grants from the National Ministers Council. Together in Ministry (TIM) was created
by the Ministers Council of the American
Baptist Churches
USA
to encourage formation
of collegial groups for the
strengthening of ministerial leaders. Through a grant from
the Lilly Foundation, each collegial group receives funding to obtain
a facilitator for the
group. A list of the current TIM groups is available on the MCGBA website.
There are 3 categories...
- Existing Clergy Groups- $1000 (2009 will be the last year)
- New Clergy Groups-$2000 (2012 will be the last year for this)
- Clergy/Lay Groups focused on Christian Practices - $2000
Here is the link for more details:

Please note, at least one member of the group needs to be a member of Ministers Council. Each member of Ministers Council will receive an additional $100 for group expense (this is sent to the individual minister), but it is a maximum of $100 (it doesn't matter how many Together in Ministry groups that individual is a member of, he/she will only receive $100).
Application forms are available online from the Ministers Council, ABC/USA
Send proposals to the
