MCGBA T.I.M. Group Meeting

The MCGBA T.I.M. group, consisting of former and current MCGBA Executive Committee members, will meet on Thursday, October 30th from 10:00-Noon at MacArthur Committee Church in San Pablo. The continuing purpose of this group is to help expand and support the work of the MCGBA Executive Committee.

MCGBA Fall Meeting:
California Academy of Science
“Free Day” & Luncheon Meeting

Wednesday, November 19
19th Avenue Baptist Church

Join us for a morning of discovering the new California Academy of Science (CAS) in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and a casual luncheon meeting at nearby 19th Ave. Baptist Church (a Cooperative Baptist Fellowship congregation). The CAS opens at 9:30 a.m. This is the monthly “free day”, so there’s no entry charge. There’ll also likely be fairly large crowds, so plan to get there early for best access. We’ll begin our luncheon meeting at 12:30 p.m. and plan to end by 2:00 p.m.

Solo/Senior Pastor Lunch Gathering

Friday, December 5th
American Baptist Seminary of the West

Solo/Senior Pastors are invited to join four members of your MCGBA Executive Council from 11:00-1:00 p.m. as we talk about the unique joys and travails of solo/senior pastoral ministry. Katie Choy-Wong, Marie Onwubuariri, Don Ng and Greg Ledbetter will facilitate this casual conversational gathering that may lead to some new Together in Ministry Groups (T.I.M.) and/or other forms of support and collegiality. The meeting will include lunch. There is no charge for this gathering. Please RSVP to Greg Ledbetter at greg@shellridge.org.
